Growing up a keen horse rider in rural South Wales, I’ve always felt most comfortable in the countryside, drawn to the grit, solitude and awe-inspiring beauty of the natural world and the adventures it has to offer. Much of my travels have been inspired by the desire to reach remote and unfamiliar places well off the beaten track in search of pristine environments undisturbed by human presence.

From the towering tidewater glaciers of Alaska to the Mars-like desert of Jordan’s Wadi Rum, I believe photography has an important role to play in illustrating the uniqueness of what will be lost should we fail to preserve and protect our environment for future generations.
