Bor’s Sleeve

Price range: $1,250.00 through $3,500.00

At eighty-two years old, Bor is a nomadic herder from Bulgan province, whose life has been shaped by the land, the horse, and the traditions of his ancestors. Wrapped in a deep red deel — the traditional robe of Mongolian herders — his hand rests on a weathered antler, a natural staff that speaks to his deep connection with the wild.

This image captures not only the texture of his clothing and the strength in his hand, but also the resilience and timelessness of Mongolia’s herding culture.
